AMAZING
1st MEC MUFFIN
Petit Trois le Valley, Los Angeles
parisian ham, american cheese, egg, sage on a sour dough English muffin that tastes like it's butter toasted on the outside... That bread is everything.
2nd SAUSAGE AND EGG CROISSANT
Donuts & Sandwich Station, Los Angeles
UPDATE: Added 2 sausages for complete sandwich coverage and now it is amazing! I guess they don't have a regular sausage and egg croissant on the menu. My husband asked if they could sub sausage for the ham. They did. The only problem is that the sausage is less than half the size of the croissant... Maybe ask for 2 sausages next time. The croissant is huge, flaky and even toasted inside. Really tasty sandwich.
REALLY GOOD
5th SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN WITH EGG
McDonald's, Los Angeles
So maybe it's not amazing, but it's easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. That's why I've eaten so many many many of them. And when you factor in the accessibility and cost, it outranks most restaurant offerings as well.
6th BREAKFAST CROISSANT SANDWICH
Georgie's Beachside Grill, Newport
Ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato and cheddar. Huge! The whole meal was really good
7th FRIED EGG AND SAUSAGE BRIOCHE SANDWICH
Panera Bread, Los Angeles
The bread is great! I like fried eggs more than scrambled eggs on my breakfast sandwiches, but the sausage is unremarkable.
9th SAUSAGE CROISSANT
Jack in the Box, Los Angeles
McDonald's sausage has a better flavor, but Jack in the Box has better breads. This croissant is light and fluffy and tastes pretty fresh. We were pleasantly surprised.
10th FAIRFAX
Eggslut, Glendale
soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun. Yum!
11th HONEYBAKED HAM CROISSANTWICH
HoneyBaked Ham, Los Angeles
Lightly toasted croissant filled with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and honeybaked ham. It's HUGE
12th PAPA FRANCISCO
Mercado Buenos Aires, Los Angeles
This is their take on a Croque monsieur. The bread is super thin, which is pretty cool. I definitely like that twist since it doesn't have Mornay sauce. It allows the yolk to have more impact on sandwich
13th BACON, EGG AND CHEESE
Eggslut, Glendale
hardwood smoked bacon, cage-free over medium egg, cheddar cheese and chipotle ketchup in a warm brioche bun. Better without the ketchup..
14th LOADED BREAKFAST SANDWICH
Jack in the Box, Los Angeles
eggs, hickory smoked bacon, ham, sausage, melted American cheese, and toasted sourdough bread The bread is the best part. The bacon does nothing for it.
16th SAUSAGE, EGG AND CHEESE BISCUIT
Jack in the Box, Los Angeles
Really good and fresh tasting biscuit. Sausage is not as flavorful as McDonald's.
18th PRIME RIB AND FRIED EGG BISCUIT
Carl's Jr., Los Angeles
I like the meat, but I would have preferred it on an English muffin.
19th MONSTER BISCUIT
Carl's Jr., Los Angeles
Bacon, sausage patty, scrambled eggs, Swiss & American cheeses on a buttermilk biscuit. The biscuit is good.
20th CLASSIC FRIED EGG SANDWICH (SAUSAGE)
The Nest: A Breakfast Joint, Bellflower
Two eggs and cheddar cheese on a brioche bun with your choice of sausage or bacon. This one was over medium with sausage. You get too thick sausage patties, but they're not spicy ☹️
22nd STEAK, EGG, AND CHEESE BAGEL
McDonald's, Los Angeles
McDonald's is swimming in a river of lies!! This isn't "steak" it's ground steak, aka ground beef, aka a BURGER. Liars. Call it a breakfast burger and people will order it if that's what they want. Sometimes, that IS what I want. Sometimes I go out for burgers, but if I ordered a steak at a restaurant and they served me a ground beef patty, I'd cause a scene. So rude.
23rd SAUSAGE CHEESY BREAKFAST MELT
Burger King, Los Angeles
I didn't love the bread. It looks great... but it's dense and a little rubbery. If they toasted it in butter, it would be WAY better
26th CLASSIC FRIED EGG SANDWICH (BACON)
The Nest: A Breakfast Joint, Bellflower
My husband requested it over hard and with bacon. Not as good as my son's sandwich.
NOT FOR ME
27th AMERICAN BREAKFAST SANDWICH
Lemonade, Los Angeles
OMG... This was ridiculous. $17 for this crappy sandwich with bacon bits on it. Beware this place!! A total rip off
