Octopus marinated in wasabi and soy sauce. A bit of sweetness, a bit of sharpness from the wasabi, and a whole load of umami from the soy sauce marination. Nice crunchy texture as well.

Octopus carpaccio, wakame seaweed, spring onion, shallot, caviar, ponzu. Very refreshing dish. People kept stealing my share.

Marinated raw octopus. Slightly chewy and crunchy in texture, kinda slimy… definitely not everyone’s cup of tea but thankfully I have friends who enjoy the same kind of foods that I do.
